Folks, I'm looking for a writeup on rebuilding my S2 seats. All I have is the frame and new covers. Is there a tech writeup somewhere? Or is this best to have a pro do it? I'm pretty handy I just need some help to get started. Is there a cheap swap in for a temp time, this is just a driver. I'm also interested in putting in 3 point belts is it pretty straight forward?
thanks,
bob

Not quite. The Series II Alpines do not have factory installed anchor points. At least mine didn't.

I thought the ones I parted out a few years ago did. Its easy enough to tell; just look carefully in the front side of the wheel well. Unless the car had belts in a previous life, there will be nylon plug screwed into the holes. You have to look carefully, as the plugs will be covered up with undercoating and (probably) 40 years of road grime.

MY late (1963) SII had the factory anchor points for 3 point belts.

My early series II does not have the anchor point in the wheel well, but my later series II does, not sure when the change happened.
